CYPRESS & STEELMOBILE MECHANIC / NORTH LOUISIANA
OUR ETHICAL STANDARDS

Your car.
Your call.

We built Cypress & Steel around a simple rule: you deserve to understand what’s wrong, what the repair costs, and what you’re agreeing to. No judgment. No pressure. No work slipped onto your bill.

Start with a price estimate ↗

We show you the failed part first.

We will never perform a repair without showing you the failed part first. We point out the damage or test findings and explain why we recommend replacing or repairing it.

If diagnostic access or disassembly is needed to see the part, we explain that step and its cost and ask for separate approval first. Seeing the evidence doesn’t commit you to the repair.

The inspection comes to your phone.

We use digital inspection reports with photos and videos of our findings, sent straight to your phone. You can review what we found and keep the report for your records.

We confirm the best number and how you’d like to receive the report. Don’t use a smartphone? We’ll walk through the findings with you another way.

Plain English. Every time.

We tell you what the part does, what the problem is, and what happens if you wait. If we use a technical term, we explain it.

Ask us to slow down or explain it again. You’re not expected to know our job.

You approve the work and the price.

You get a written breakdown of the proposed work, parts, labor, and any travel or convenience charges. We wait for your approval before repairs begin.

Find something else? We stop, show you, and discuss a new quote. An estimate request is not repair authorization.

Zero judgment. No sales pressure.

Your budget, your questions, and your maintenance history don’t change the respect you get. We don’t talk down to you or use aggressive sales tactics.

We explain what’s urgent, what can wait, and what we’re still unsure about. You can decline a repair or seek another opinion. Any agreed diagnostic or completed-work charges still apply.

Clean Workspace Guarantee

We protect the work area with suitable covers and fluid containment, collect our tools, packaging, and debris, and address spills we cause before leaving.

We remove replaced parts unless you ask to keep them, subject to any disclosed core-return requirement. We don’t leave waste or used fluids at your property. Raise a cleanup concern before we leave or contact us afterward so we can address it.

YOUR SPACE MATTERS TOO

Set the boundaries
for your visit.

Prefer a daytime appointment? Want someone with you? Want to meet at work? Tell us. We confirm who’s coming, respect your space, and don’t need to enter your home.

Read our safe space protocol or contact us about a visit.
